Business: Grandma Crackers Crafts & Creations (named by my first Grandchild years ago)

How long have you been in business/making or selling your craft?

Just getting started but I have been sewing and crafting for 50 years.

What do you make/sell?

Paintings, signs, pillows, any thing that involves paints and materials.

How long have you lived in Arlington or the surrounding area?

I have lived in Arlington since 2019. My Husband and I came from Crooked River Ranch, which we lived for 23 years. We really wanted to be closer to our family here and enjoy them more. Retiring as a Loan Officer/ Member Service Specialist , gave me time to dive into my creative side, meet my new community and the great people, and lead me on another adventure as a resident of Arlington.

About…

My life has been full of adventure always creating new opportunities. I loved riding motorcycles, skiing and breaking horses when I was younger. My favorite and most sought after adventures were packing my horses into the wilderness in my later years. I love volunteering and have done so by starting out at 14 years old as a Candy striper for the elderly. My other areas of volunteering include President of Reynolds ASA Softball, Girl Scout leader, 1994 recycler of the year for The State of Oregon, Ombudsman for Oregon (Foster homes, assisted living, etc.) and a few more. I have owned and operated my own business a couple times and love the challenge on every aspect.

Why did you want to be a vendor at The Pop?

I enjoy being a part of The Pop with such creative unique individuals. I have made many new friends and have been able to experience the joy of meeting my community, learning about Arlington, and enjoying what it offers. What is your favorite moment so far at The Pop? I have a lot of great moments, most are meeting all the people that love to stop here in Arlington and enjoy us, along with the stories they share. What are you favorite hobbies, crafts, or other things to fill your time? I love sewing, crafting, dying material, gardening, cooking, camping and enjoying my Husband and family.

Can customers shop with you online?  Not yet, working on it!

Do you take custom orders? I will take customer orders and I love sharing with others some painting techniques!
